It has now been officially confirmed that Fifth Harmony have been signed to LA Reid's record label Epic Records via Simon Cowell's Syco Music! The Sony Music label will now be home to the five brilliant girls who have been speculated to be getting a deal for weeks now, after coming in third in the finals of the X Factor.
@NormaniKordei: GUYS THIS PROVES THAT ANYTHING COULD HAPPEN , SIGNED TO SYCO/EPIC RECORDS ! FOR ME TO BE ABLE TO EVEN SAY THAT IS CRAZY
@FifthHarmony: WE'RE OFFICIALLY SIGNED TO SYCO AND EPIC RECORDS AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH THIS IS AMAZING
Earlier today Simon Cowell asked the Twitter community for their opinion on signing the girls.
@SimonCowell: I see a lot of support for fifth harmony. Do you think we should sign the girls?
@SimonCowell: You know I like to get a little feedback from time to time and I trust your opinions.
@SimonCowell: Maybe it's time for a large dose of girl power...
@SimonCowell: Ok. I heard you.

About an hour ago, he confirmed that Fifth Harmony were indeed getting the deal.
@SimonCowell: To all the harmonisers. Thank you for all the support. Happy to confirm we have signed fifth harmony.
The Hollywood Reporter quoted Camila Cabello as saying, "Being introduced to the Syco and Epic family means the world to us. We get to learn from and work with the best in the business, people who have built the careers of artists we look up to. The fact that we’re being given the opportunity to make music that we want feels like a dream we never want to wake up from, and I literally just have to pinch myself."

Epic Records is a NYC-based record label company headed by former X Factor judge, LA Reid. THR says Fifth Harmony’s debut album will be executive produced by multiplatinum producer/songwriter Julian Bunetta (One Direction, Leona Lewis), who previously worked with the group as a music producer on X Factor. The album will feature collaborations with songwriters Autumn Rowe and Lil’ Eddie.
